The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence as it welcomed a delegation from the Technological University of the Philippines – College of Liberal Arts (TUP-CLA) for a benchmarking visit focused on best practices in administration, curriculum development, instruction, research, and extension, particularly in programs under the College of Management and Business Technology (CMBT).
NEUST President Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo emphasized NEUSTβs commitment to academic partnerships and institutional support in various areas including instruction, research, extension, training, and facility-sharing as she welcomed the TUP delegation.
Dr. Feliciana P. Jacoba, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Sarah C. Alvarez, Dean of CMBT, echoed this commitment, encouraging meaningful exchanges and reinforcing the universityβs goal of collaborative growth.
Leading the TUP delegation was Dr. Michael Bhobet Baluyot, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, who expressed gratitude for NEUSTβs hospitality and noted that this visit marks the beginning of a valuable academic partnership.
Faculty members and area chairpersons from both universities participated in the event, which concluded with a tour of the CMBT buildings.
The benchmarking activity took place at the Mini Convention Center, Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City, on January 28, 2025.
