The NEUST College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT) joined the International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE) 2025 at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium on April 4, 2025.
Three (3) CICT faculty members including Dr. Rachel Alegado, Dr. Cris Norman Olipas, and Dr. Ruth Luciano served as research paper reviewers, contributing to the academic proceedings of the event.
Meanwhile, Karl Cigie Salvador Bautista was declared champion in the Cosplay Competition, coached by Rhoel Anthony Torres while Mark Luzano reached the finals in the IT Specialist Challenge – Device Configuration and Management, earning certification as an IT Specialist under the mentorship of Rosalie B. Sison.
Other participants included Aliyah Louise Tuazon, Chazel Sapang, Marvin Calica, Josh Mclyde Rojo, and Daniella Gonzales in the Paper/Poster Presentation; Camille Garcia and Nash Andre Berber in the Technical Content Writing competition; Raymond Keanu Puno, Julia Mariya Ludovico, and Fedric Adnell Montemayor in IT Marketing event; Ayer Mackryss Genese, Baron Sy, Reden Carl Gaspar, Jomar Alcantara, and Princess Ellieza Hipolito in Video Editing category; Maverick Cuaresma, Darwin Jay Rivera, and John Sebastian Mangilin in Motion Graphics competition; Leon Laborina, Christian Mamplata and Christine Joy Pagaling in Action Figure Toy Design contest; and Gabriel Cruzada, Zesrael Clemente, Lara Ocampo, Grace Centeno, and Prancess Santiago in the singing competition.
Students were guided by their faculty coaches, including Dr. Olipas, Dr. Luciano, Dr. Ruth Ann Santos, Christine Joyce Carlos, Prince Mert Nicolas, Jodell Bulaclac, Alexander Cochanco, Emilsa Bantug, Andrew Caezar Villegas, Angelito Cunanan Jr., Rose Anne Cochanco, and Joana Marie Tolentino.
