LOOK | NEUST produces top scientists in 2025 AD Scientific Index

Sixty-one (61) scientists of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) made it to the 2025 Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index, making the University a leading academic and research institution.

NEUST secured the 87th rank in the Philippines this year, where 16 faculty members belong to the top 70% globally, including 3 in the top 50% and 1 in the top 30%.

Leading the list is Arneil Garcia Gabriel, who achieved an H-index of 14 (12 in the last six years), making him as NEUST’s most cited researcher; Dr. Angelo R. Santos, H-index of 7; Kim Dr. Edward S. Santos and Dr. Andie Tangonan Capinding, each with an H-index of 6.
Dr. Kenneth L. Armas also joins this tier, recording an H-index of 6, with 5 of those citations earned in the past six years.

Other notable contributors include Dr. Reynante Bustillos (5), Dr. Rosemarie Casimiro (4), and Dr. Rachel Torres Alegado (4).
Researchers such as Dr. Teodora Luz S. Mangahas, Dr. Angelica Ordanza Cortez, Dr. Allen Paul Esteban, Dr. Mary Chris Austria-Cruz, Dr. Maricar H. Sison, and Dr. Cristo Mark D. Ancheta, each holds an H-index of 3.

Rounding out the list with notable emerging influence are Dr. Kenneth Samonte (3), Dr. Jean Guillasper (2), Dr. Rolaida Libed Sonza (2), Dr. Eloisa Gabriel (2), Dr. Christopher Vergara (2), andDr. Marilene Hipolito (2).
