NEUST unites with Central Luzon HEIs for 2025 ASEAN celebration

NEUST President Rhodora Jugo convened with the leaders of higher education institutions (HEIs) in Region 3 for the ASEAN Conference 2025, an event aimed at strengthening academic partnerships and regional engagement within the ASEAN community.

The conference, themed “HIRAYA: Honoring Internationalization through Regional ASEAN-Yearned Alliances,” was organized by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHEDRO III) and held on September 4, 2025, at Hotel Seoul, Clark, Pampanga.

President Jugo, alongside Atty. Eric Claudio, Director of the Office of International Affairs, represented the university by signing a collective Commitment Board that reflects a shared dedication among the region’s HEIs to advance collaboration, unity, and cross-cultural understanding, aligning with the broader goals of the ASEAN community.

Other university officials in attendance were Dr. Kenneth Armas, Director of the Planning and Development Office, and Dr. Jo Neil Peria, Dean of the College of Education.
