NEUST retains ‘Reporter Status’ in Times Higher Education World University Rankings
For the third consecutive year, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) has retained its “Reporter Status” in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings for 2026, announced on October 9, 2025.
NEUST is one of 3,118 universities worldwide that participated in this year’s evaluation.
Among Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), six achieved a ranked position, while 42, including NEUST, were designated with “Reporter Status.”
Within Central Luzon, NEUST is one of only four HEIs to receive this recognition, alongside Bulacan State University, Central Luzon State University, and Tarlac Agricultural University.
The THE World University Rankings evaluate universities across five key performance indicators: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, International Outlook, and Industry.
“Reporter Status” is given to institutions that have submitted data for evaluation but did not meet the full eligibility requirements to be included in the ranked list.
The THE World University Rankings is recognized as one of the most comprehensive global university performance assessments, measuring the core missions of higher education institutions — teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and internationalization.
