This was the message of NEUST President Dr. Rhodora Jugo during the flag-raising ceremony held on May 4, 2026, at Heroes’ Park, NEUST Sumacab Campus, in line with the nationwide observance of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May.

In her address, President Jugo highlighted the University’s ongoing efforts to support the national call for transparency and efficiency in public service delivery, including an improved enrollment system, the installation of information kiosks across satellite campuses, and other service enhancements to provide faster, more reliable access to information for all stakeholders.

The President also recognized the strong performance of the College of Engineering in the April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE), as well as its achievement of producing a Top 3 passer in the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination (RMELE).

With the theme “Achieving Results through Transparency and Accountability: Towards a More Productive Bagong Pilipinas,” NEUST reaffirmed its commitment to delivering efficient, transparent, and citizen-centered services.

Meanwhile, Engr. Christopher Ladignon, Head of the Regulatory and Performance Compliance Unit, CART member, and ARTA focal person, emphasized the University’s alignment with national efforts to streamline processes and improve frontline service delivery.

Engr. Ladignon further announced that, as part of the month-long observance, the University CART will conduct a series of training sessions and seminars for frontline services, including revisions to the citizens’ charter and the client satisfaction measurement report, as well as the upcoming rollout of the Report Card Survey 2.0 Plus.

It can be recalled that NEUST was the only institution to receive the Gold/Excellent Award among 116 state universities and colleges assessed in the 2023 Report Card Survey (RCS) conducted by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA).

The University continues to streamline its processes, strengthen accountability mechanisms, and foster a culture of integrity in delivering quality services, thereby contributing to a more responsive and business-friendly environment for its stakeholders.
