To strengthen institutional innovation, research excellence, and global academic visibility, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) formalized its partnership with CE-Logic Inc. through a contract signing and project orientation held at the President’s Conference Room, Sumacab Campus, on June 15, 2026.
The activity marked the official commencement of a collaborative undertaking aimed at enhancing university operations through technology-driven solutions and expanding institutional access to Scopus and Scopus AI.
The initiative was facilitated through the Research Publication Office, headed by Dr. Angelo Santos, under the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training led by Dr. Jean Guillasper, in support of the university’s continuing efforts to strengthen research publication, scholarly productivity, and global research visibility.
Dr. Jean Guillasper, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training, expressed gratitude to the university leadership, partner organization, faculty members, and staff for supporting the initiative aimed at strengthening research and academic productivity.
She emphasized the importance of providing faculty members with access to research resources and databases to increase the quality and quantity of scholarly publications.
“Through this partnership and collaboration, we are confident that we will achieve our research goals and further strengthen our culture of academic excellence,” she said.
NEUST President Dr. Rhodora Jugo highlighted the significance of collaboration and shared commitment in advancing the university’s research agenda.
She emphasized that meaningful research requires access to quality resources, reliable tools, and opportunities for scholarly engagement.

During the orientation, representatives from CE-Logic Inc. discussed the features and benefits of Scopus and Scopus AI, emphasizing their role in improving research productivity, strengthening publication visibility, and supporting data-driven academic decision-making among NEUST faculty members, researchers, and the academic community.
Janice Pe Benito, Regional Sales Manager of CE-Logic Inc., expressed gratitude for the partnership and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the university’s research and academic goals through research tools and resources designed to enhance scholarly productivity and publication outputs.
This milestone reflects NEUST’s continuing commitment to digital transformation, research innovation, and global competitiveness through strategic partnerships that support quality education and sustainable institutional development.
