In support of the Central Luzon Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research, Development and Extension Consortium (CLAARDEC) and its 50th Anniversary Celebration, the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) participated in the Synchronized Tree-Planting Activity on July 3, 2026, as part of the University’s Mid-Year Planning activities.
The tree-planting initiative served as one of the highlights of the planning program, reflecting NEUST’s commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible stewardship while aligning with CLAARDEC’s call for its member institutions to plant fruit-bearing trees.
Beyond celebrating five decades of excellence in research, development, and extension, the activity symbolized the University’s shared vision of cultivating a greener and more sustainable future. It also reinforced the President’s message during the Mid-Year Planning that meaningful leadership is rooted in actions that benefit future generations.
Through this initiative, NEUST joins fellow CLAARDEC member institutions in commemorating the consortium’s Golden Anniversary while reaffirming its dedication to sustainable development, environmental responsibility, and nation-building through education, research, and public service.
