The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) formally received the hosting responsibilities for the 2026 Culture and the Arts Association of State Universities and Colleges in Region III (CAASUC III) Regional Culture and the Arts Festival (RCAF) during the Board of Management Meeting held in Cabanatuan City.

The turnover of hosting duties from Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) to NEUST marked the beginning of the University’s preparations for the upcoming regional cultural event.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Jose Mangahas, Jr. and attended by the cultural directors and coordinators of participating state universities and colleges (SUCs) in Region III.

A series of discussions was held to prepare for CAASUC III RCAF 2026, including reviewing and revisiting the CAASUC III Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), as well as other key matters concerning the organization, implementation, and conduct of the regional cultural event.

During the meeting, NEUST President Dr. Rhodora Jugo expressed the University’s full support for the activities leading to CAASUC III RCAF 2026 and conveyed her optimism for the successful conduct of this year’s regional cultural gathering.

President Jugo also emphasized the University’s ongoing commitment to supporting cultural activities that offer students opportunities to showcase their talents, creativity, and artistic excellence.

Dr. Jugo added that NEUST remains open to the suggestions and recommendations of participating SUCs as preparations for the event continue.

The Board of Management also outlined succeeding meetings and activities in the coming months to facilitate coordination, venue preparations, document review, and other essential requirements leading to the event.

CAASUC III RCAF 2026 is tentatively scheduled for December 7–11, 2026.
