NEUST President Dr. Rhodora Jugo shared this message following the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology’s receipt of two plaques from the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHEDRO III), recognizing its placements in the 2026 World University Rankings for Innovation and the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026.

NEUST was recognized for placing in the 1,001–1,500 band of the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 and ranking 189th in the World University Rankings for Innovation 2026. 

The plaques were presented during TANGLAW Central Luzon (Together Achieving National and Global Legacies for ASEAN-ready and World-Class Central Luzon), themed “Navigating the ASEAN Future Together,” on September 14, 2026, at Hotel Seoul in Clark, Pampanga. 

In an interview, NEUST Office of International Affairs Director Atty. Eric Claudio said the recognition reflects the University’s continuing efforts to strengthen its international presence.

“NEUST’s efforts in internationalization paid off. It successfully translated its strategic internationalization initiatives into global recognition. More has yet to come, but gradually we are on the right track,” Claudio said.

The recognition reflects NEUST’s continuing efforts to strengthen its international presence and gain wider recognition for its work in innovation and sustainability.
