The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) ranked in the 101–110 bracket among 161 public universities in the AppliedEdu Public University Ranking: ASEAN 2027, marking its continued presence in regional university rankings.

NEUST placed 12th among the 32 Philippine public higher education institutions (HEIs) included in the ranking, sharing the position with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Romblon State University, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), and Urdaneta City University.

Among the seven public HEIs in Central Luzon, NEUST placed fourth, sharing the position with TAU.

Compiled by AppliedEdu, a Singapore-based education technology company, the ranking provides students, parents, and other higher education stakeholders with an independent benchmark for comparing universities.

The ASEAN 2027 public university ranking assesses institutions across six key areas: teaching and learning, employability, research, institutional reputation, community engagement, and internationalization.

Since its initial inclusion in the rankings in 2026, NEUST has appeared in three ranking editions, reflecting its continued participation in regional and broader Asian assessments of public higher education institutions.
