The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) has secured a place in the QS Asia University Rankings 2027, marking another milestone in its pursuit of international recognition and academic excellence.

Officially released on November 3, 2026, the latest rankings placed NEUST in the 1501+ ranking band, joining 45 Philippine higher education institutions recognized in this year’s edition. NEUST is also among the four universities from Central Luzon included in the prestigious regional ranking.

Published annually by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the QS Asia University Rankings assess higher education institutions across Asia based on key indicators covering academic reputation, employer reputation, research productivity, faculty qualifications, learning environment, and international engagement.

The evaluation considers four major areas: Research and Discovery, Employability and Outcomes, Global Engagement, and Learning Experience. Through these indicators, the ranking provides an international benchmark for assessing universities’ academic standing, research performance, graduate employability, and global connectivity.

NEUST’s inclusion in the 2027 edition reflects an important step in strengthening its international visibility and provides an opportunity to benchmark its institutional performance against universities across the region. It also reinforces the University’s continuing efforts to enhance research productivity, improve academic programs, strengthen industry linkages, and expand international partnerships.
