The Planning and Development Office of the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) spearheaded THE BRIDGE 2026: Proposed Plans, Activities, and Projects (PAPs) for Fiscal Year 2028, alongside a consultation on the revision of the Sumacab Campus Land Use and Development Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP), on November 5, 2026, at Wright Hall, NEUST Mini Convention Center, Sumacab Campus.
The activity provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss proposed university plans, activities, and projects for Fiscal Year 2028 while gathering inputs and recommendations for the revision of the Sumacab Campus LUDIP.
NEUST President Dr. Rhodora Jugo welcomed the university’s community partners, alumni, faculty and staff representatives, and other stakeholders to the consultation on the university’s proposed plans, activities, and projects for 2028.
She emphasized that the university’s development requires the active participation of various sectors, both within and outside the institution.
“The aim is to make the university’s presence felt more meaningfully in uplifting the lives of our stakeholders,” she said.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kenneth Armas, Director of the Planning and Development Office, presented the university’s priority infrastructure and development proposals, highlighting the need for additional facilities to address the growing student population at Sumacab Campus.
His presentation highlighted the importance of gathering stakeholder recommendations for inclusion in the university’s 2028 plans and budget proposals under Tier 2 of the General Appropriations Act (GAA).
The consultation encouraged stakeholder participation in institutional planning and provided an opportunity to align proposed development initiatives with the needs, priorities, and long-term development goals of the university community.
The activity was attended by NEUST alumni, faculty members, administrative personnel, community partners, and other university stakeholders.
